A more positive take: companies act in whatever way maximizes profit. When they do advertising with pride flags etc, that means they expect the population to overall be supportive of LGBT people, as otherwise such ads would hurt sales. So while companies sadly aren’t ideologically behind pride, I’m still happy to see them do these kinds of ads as they are an indicator of decently widespread LGBT support.
I’d like to see them to make no ads at all.
