For a few months I’ve been trying to buy a laptop that charges via USB-C and that isn’t a MacBook or Chromebook. The only need you’ve specified is charging via USB-C But you’ve also said that alone isn’t sufficient so it’ll be hard for anyone to give you advice.
Best I can do is let you know my work issued Lenovo ThinkPad charges via Thunderbolt via a USB-C connection.
Another thing to note, adding ‘Thunderbolt’ to your search terms might help you find candidates, as I believe that is the technology most laptops will be leveraging along with a USB-C connector for charging.

Fair enough, I could have been more specific.
My complaint about the one USB-C charging laptop I have purchased is primarily that it doesn’t seem to hold a charge for more than an hour of non intensive use. A laptop that charges via that interface and holds the charge would most likely meet my needs.
