For a few months I’ve been trying to buy a laptop that charges via USB-C and that isn’t a MacBook or Chromebook. So far I’ve gotten several laptops that have USB-C ports but don’t charge using them; and one laptop that does charge via USB-C but is … Otherwise pretty unimpressive. Might want to take a look at Framework laptops. Very upgradeable and customizable. I don’t personally have one, but based on what I see while shopping myself it looks solid IMO. website
A coworker actually recommended that. I realize I didn’t specify a budget, but aren’t those pretty expensive?
They aren’t chromebook priced, but I built one last night and it was looking like 1700.oo with modest choices but you could lower that price. Don’t forget they are meant to be upgraded so you have that benefit going forward.
