Amazing and uplifting atmospheric sludge/post metal from these two groups coming together for this collaboration. I’m not quite sure whether this belongs here lol. Great buzz and crunch with harmonic half-growls and not a low amount of blast beats all join to make this unique sound. Almost reminds me of an early heavier Baroness but their lyrics have never been this wonderfully positive xD.

I’d say it belongs, VERY post-metal, but not in a way that feels unmoored from a nice heavy metal center. It feels like what would happen if Deafheaven was a sludge band, kinda sick honestly.
Ooo yea I do see the Deafheaven similarities. Also wanted to say I heard some Pelican in there, especially among the rest of the release when things aren’t as heavy.
This feels like a song that’s more than the sum of its component bands, if you see what I mean, it’s a fantastic tune
This album carried me through a lot of beautiful times. One of the best collaborations out there.
