        i never quite understood that. why make your family decide? tell them what you want and then they can decide whether to use that or something else.

        i want mine to be “Food tastes best when shared”

          why make your family decide?

          I don’t want to make them decide. But what is to be written on my headstone is not for my sake. I regard that as something that my family would like to remember me by, because my headstone is not for me, it’s for them. Quite simple, really.
