This looks like an excellent use for the MW band, which is being increasingly vacated by regular radio stations.

If they’re using pre-existing structures it sounds like a great addition to satellite-based GPS, which would help safeguard against enemy GPS jamming or other interference.

If it’s using radio waves, can’t that also be jammed?
