And here I sob silently. Not for the state, not for the nation, not for humanity… But for mother nature. I cry for the animals and vegetation that were here before us. I cry for the waters, that provided life for millenia. I cry for the contrast of the past and the present, and I am sad for the future.

I’m not even a hippie, but I was raised to understand that our lives are temporary, and mother nature should be respected. We, as a species, have desecrated this planet.
