Na weken discussie heeft de Vlaamse regering de knoop doorgehakt over welke sociaal-culturele verenigingen hun subsidie verliezen. Als compromis zien zowel Vlaamsgezinde als enkele linkse organisaties - ondanks een positieve evaluatie - voor in totaal 3,5 miljoen euro aan subsidies geschrapt. Volgens de regering zijn de linkse organisaties betrokken bij gewelddadig extremisme.
This controversy isn’t about the organisations that received a negative recommendation from the independent experts. It’s about the 6 organisations that are losing most/all their subsidies despite getting a positive recommendation. If there is a different controversy about the negative recommendation for samenhuizen’s application, then I’m not aware of that one.
