I blocked the instance hilariouschaos for being a conservative cesspool and that’s the closest I’ve come to an instance ban. Just don’t be a jerk, it’s not hard.
its not always about not being a jerk (although sometimes it is). I used the word ‘tankie’ once and now I’m banned from c/latestagecapitalsm because the mod is a Stalin loving authoritarian-communist
Its actually so annoying to feel like you have to check what instance it belongs to and who moderates a community before saying stuff, like if I were to say something about china committing genocide on a .ml community I’d get banned from there
