I worked at a walmart for a while between jobs and I miss working there and I especially love working holidays. It was so much easier and stress free compared to my actual job. Oh no someone is yelling at me because they cant find the thing they want… On no someone didnt get their milk they really needed.

Id go back to that in a heartbeat if it paid a living wage.

I think some of that stuff would be a lot more stressful if you expected the job to be a long term thing you need to support yourself with.

At the time I thought it would be that. Went from CAP one to department head in about 10 months before getting a hit on a resume I submitted almost 2 years before.

I think if anything its a type of job that just wears on you over time especially with how hard it is on your body and the bs around sick leave and etc.
