I think I beat most of you. I use a 10-year-old office-grade SFF PC that I bought for less than 200€. It’s running Mint 22.2

      I have several of these!

Not my lowest or highest spec machines though, right around the middle. 6the, 7th, and a few 8th gens.

A 6th gen is my htpc/emulation station for the TV though. Currently sitting under my desk as I rework it to add some stuff for my kids though.

    Steam Deck / R5 2400G APU with 16GB RAM.

Have a reserve R5 3600 for if I buy a GPU, but I don’t currently do stuff that need one.

    Intel Core i5-6300U vPro @ 2,4 GHz
    8 GB ram
    500 GB storage space
Fedora sway atomic and windows 10

This is an HP elitbook 840 G3 from 2016. I also have a 2012 office desktop computer, but it’s generally worse for gaming in my experience

Perhaps I have too many devices, but here’s everything I got, in order of most used to least used:

    • ThinkPad X260 (i5-6300U, 16/512GB, 1080p display) - been an excellent and durable daily driver device that also gets used on the field. Port selection is excellent. Total spend 170AUD
    • MacBook Air M1 (16/256GB) - equally used as much as my ThinkPad, but for work/study and is usually connected to a 1440p display. Total spend 710AUD
    • MacBook Air 2015 11" (i5-5250U, 4/128GB) - originally purchased for cheap to see if I wanted to fully commit to a proper Mac computer, now used as an extremely portable and convenient internet browsing device. Total spend 80AUD
    • Custom Built SFF Server (i5 Sandy Bridge, 16GB/1TB) - all my self hosted stuff runs on this currently, most used for Nextcloud and Invidious. Not the most power efficient, but being mini ITX I do intend to replace the mobo in the future. Total spend 130AUD
    • Custom Built Gaming PC (i7-8700, 32/512GB, RTX 2060) - built about 3-4 years ago, it sees little use from me nowadays, and it may be sold in the near future. Total spend 700AUD

Otherwise I have a few spare devices such as a HP ProDesk G7 (free), a Leader SN6 NUC (free), and RPi 4B 4GB ($40 back in 2018). I’ll probably give the ProDesk away as it used to be my server but I just found it too big for my liking.

I also have a vintage palmtop device (HP Jornada 820) that I intend to hold onto and restore (restore the battery pack and 3D print broken keys and case parts).

I guess I can just look up the phone in gsm arena. But it says there are a range of possible values.

I found this on FDroid: https://f-droid.org/packages/com.kgurgul.cpuinfo

It says I have 8 cores of arm64-v8a. It looks like the lowest has a max of 2.2 GHz and the highest goes to 3.4 GHz . Lots of 32 kb L1 caches and a 2mb L2. SoC name unknown.

        Qualcomm GPU Adreno 750 (?)

Total Memory: 12 GB (more than my desktop lol…)

I’m pretty sure my phone is more powerful than my desktop.

i run a few systems because i solve every problem i can with an x86 linux system

My favorite HTPC is a custom quiet build i assembled with a 5700G because performance is comparable to a Steam Deck, and I run Bazzite on there.

My Xbox Series S is my low spec gaming system :) dreadful frame rates and embarrassing graphics combined.

A friend recently gave me his old computer which was high spec six years ago and it only runs Windows 10 or Linux. I haven’t even plugged it in yet but I’m sure it’ll be fun for Spring RTS and 0 A.D.
