It’s not my type of hair why I never watched it tell now. It’s. Not that good. At least for me. But I wanted to watch it at least once all the way through.
This is one of the very few shows that have actual proper lesbian relationship and representation I have seen. No weird fetishizing of it or infantilization just two women who love each other. I really appreciate that for the show.

I really disliked all the switching back and forth to earth for useless drama scenes. I know they did this because money at Syfy was pretty tight at the time. But I want to watch a space sci-fi show, not a cheap daytime soap opera.
One of the things I liked about Atlantis was the feeling of being cut off from Earth. Being all on your own with little to no support. This made the stakes higher and all the new stuff a fun new adventure and mystery. This was done for obvious reasons, but I still liked the premise. With the constant communication through the stones, it felt like the team was just around the corner from Earth. Even though they were farther than anyone ever was. But it really didn’t feel like that.
Another issue was the potential and all of the stuff they teased. They could do so much and there was so much interesting stuff just peeking around the sides. But the show had so much issues in the production, none of it was ever explored or paid off.
It ended up very lame and a total failure in my eyes. I’ve only seen the show twice, where I’ve seen SG1 at least 30 times and SGA a dozen times.
