It’s not my type of hair why I never watched it tell now. It’s. Not that good. At least for me. But I wanted to watch it at least once all the way through.
This is one of the very few shows that have actual proper lesbian relationship and representation I have seen. No weird fetishizing of it or infantilization just two women who love each other. I really appreciate that for the show.
I didn’t really like it when it aired and avoided watching it for many years. Never was a fan if the BSG/Lost show format with constant drama and flashbacks. The episodic style of SG1 and Atlantis, that’s my groove.
But I watched it all the way recently and honestly grew on me. Still not a fan of all the filler drama and style of plot, but it has its good moments. And there’s some decent acting in there. Definitely worth a watch.
even if you like BSG, it definitely had it’s ups and downs. when BSG started, it really sung, and then as it lost steam, it almost became a parody of itself at times. and the thing with Universe for me was that it skipped past the being good part and felt like a bad later season of a once good show
