Its really driving me nuts today. I understand the rage about the settlers around the world doing genocide and I froth at the mouth regularly but shitting on workers of the US, germany or any other state is just chauvinism in a different outfit.

The immigrant in germany who makes rap music does not have no culture, tupac who was an american communist did not have no culture, these people are human same as us and it is shocking to me that this huge contradiction is allowed to go unaddressed on a marxist-leninist instance.

You can acknowledge the revolutionary potential of workers while also understanding that workers in the imperial core benefit from imperialism and the exploitation of the global south. The culture of the imperial core reflects this material interest and ideologically reinforces liberalism and imperialism. This is not a moral condemnation of individual workers. I think you could benefit from reading this:

1st point : Tupac died in 96. Did he ever really have cultural sovereignty over his own art? Hip hop is arguably a postmodern form of music - a rejection of Modernism. Postmodernism criticises Modernism’s cultural democratization through ironic appropriation of older cultures to create commodified products out of artistic expression. Read “Postmodernism, or, the Cultural Logic of Late Capitalism” by Jameson.

2nd : “Settlers” by Sakai showed the colonial imperial attitude that built America was replaced by a labour aristocracy that has continued into neocolonialism. America became the cultural hegemony that dominates capitalist mass media exported around the globe. Hollywood cinema, streaming services, and social media are all American based corporate products. Arguably only China has its own ecosystem of mass media.

American settler culture has a motive to support the American capitalist class: creation of a racial hierarchy internally, rejection and denigration of other cultures, etc.

I mean this with the best of intentions but please read the room comrade. I feel that I know the thread that has promoted these feelings in you and your comparisons of Tupac and immigrants in the west as representing “western culture” is a insensitive at best and insulting at worst, and I think part of you surely understands that there is something about your own examples that you’re not mentioning.

People are dying, yes, it’s making every global South comrade here furious, yes, and you’ll start hearing statements that may hurt your feelings, but rather than telling us to silence our opinions, maybe take our side and see the failures of your society from our perspectives.

This is not the first time i am having this issue and we have had mods clear this up. Chauvinism against others is not ML, not marxist and disrespectful of comrades. Asking me to take disrespect and breaking of rule three is not an option.

Haui claims he was once a millionaire and that he even joined mensa:

I have a very long and complicated history. From “weird” child with lots of problems, to “prodigy”, to high school dropout, to prodigy, loosing many jobs in short succession, going self employed and making millions, to full system crash during covid with near miss on a long prison sentence. I thought something has to be amiss. “I dont think my life is like that of the others.” I got a lot of " giftedness" stuff recommended on youtube back then. Turns out i am. Joined mensa. But there i had the same issues (no idea of chauvinism at that time), got active in supporting, was able to help in every department, not only my own. Got in trouble with the chairpeople for threatening their reign with my capacity and got told to toe the line. No can do! In hindsight i have a chauvinism trigger. If i encounter someone oppressing others for no reason i explode.

His idea of chauvinism doesn’t even make any sense…

I see it differently. I see it as someone who shared their journey through their lens. I don’t see chauvinism here. I see someone with real pain in need of real, deep healing, and who is a human learning the best they can, while dealing with a lot of pain and disillusionment. I wish our sibling the best on their healing and learning journey.

Yikes. You’re stepping over the line big time. You’re getting reported and going on the blocklist. I’m shocked you’re even allowed on here.
