    What put me off Reddit was my perception that most of the very active users are toxic. Some of the users seem to enjoy bashing everything and anything that they slightly disagreed with and it has reached it’s tipping point for me. It seems to me that they are exceptionally lacking in personal development and critical thinking and it ruins what makes the platform great. I’m hoping this platform doesn’t end up like Reddit.

      Totally. I just said yesterday, that r/europe and r/buyfromeu are the only subreddits, who are actually friendly right now and don’t lynch you for stating a non-threatening opinion.

        r/europe turned into a radical right cesspool a few years ago. I’m skeptical whether they are not now.

        Haven’t heard from the latter, but I commend that idea of buying locally.
