Good day all! I’m looking to start deer hunting on 175 acres of private, family land in Connecticut. I’ve never hunted deer but have experience with small game and birds. I was lucky enough to fall into a nice Winchester 94 30/30 and would like to get a deer for the freezer. I ready have a valid license and can get the tags, what’s the best way to get started?
