Connecting with a community to prep for potential self-sufficiency. Learning skills that would be useful in a post-global trade scenario. Getting money out of banks and into tools and goods you can give away or sell. etc.
Adaption would mean that you accept the new normal as normal. Hypernormalizing shows that you are (yet) not adapting. At least in my book.
