But at least it likely will be an option for midrange boards. Edit: just took a look, the cheapest mainboard with 10GbE onboard is now €370. Currently, if you need 10GbE, it’s smarter to buy an expansion card.
It’s great that 10GbE is getting cheaper, but at $10 for the network chip alone, there is no way it will be available at a $80 mainboard.
