Long-term friendships are such a goal. It makes me a little sad that I’ll never have this “friends since kindergarten” thing, though I know that very few people actually have friendships like that. Still, it’d be cool to have this kind of friend. Or to have friends at all tbh
In my experience the way to make friends is to go and join clubs focused on activities that you enjoy, every single friend I have nowadays I either met through a common activity or through friends of friends.
tbh I feel like I have a couple of friends these days? They live pretty far away, but we talk on discord and stuff, and sometimes we talk about meeting irl :3
