Spark (originally called Reelo) is a video-first app that is built on top of the AT Protocol, not just Bluesky. That allows the app to differentiate itself with a broader feature set that will include support for longer videos, filters, effects, a music library, and, eventually, livestreaming.

Flashes is really good but Bluescreen is glitchy. I’m a beta tester for Skylight and it’s a bit bare bones, but it’s building quickly and it feels good to use.

I asked myself which projects will remain active, others will close, will end up being acquired by a company or Bluesky, will flourish, will be niche, will be successful or will go public?
