I don’t know that much about NFL mores, I’m pretty sure a personal fine is as close as a coach can get to being judged guilty, does a suspension carry the same weight for a player? AFAIK Tom Brady was never fined
Suspension is worse than a fine; you can easily pay the latter and keep playing. A suspension doesn’t just have financial penalties, but performance and contractual ones, as well as hindering your ability to compete.
