Easy, under US law the only way to remove the president is the impeachment process.

Anything else would represent an end to the US system. Although ironically since the Senate won’t impeach this will also lead to an end to the US system.

So yeah since the Senate majority is complicit we’re stuck between the end of our democracy or a civil war. Bad place to be
