There have been many recent misconceptions regarding the recent India-US trade deal so lets clear hem up.

So, first of all, according to this trade deal, USA has lowered its tariffs on India from 50% to 18%, which is remarkable.

India has kept its entire agriculture and Dairy Sector Protected with no lowered Tariff on any kind of Dairy Product.

India has only lowered tariffs on Machinery, Electricals, Vehicles and components, Chemicals and Non‑sensitive agricultural and food items.

So, I’d really call this a big win for India because the only concern in my eyes for India was if India opened up its Dairy and Agriculture sector to USA.
