Unironically, while I’m not a big fan of RDR2 in general (just not my cup of tea), it was a fantastic choice to have Arthur positive towards women’s suffrage because he’s cynical towards democracy (“Women voting? Shore, why not. Anyone dumb enough to vote should be allowed to.”). It makes his views non-hostile towards the modern eyes of most players without making his views tonally inconsistent with his background or time period.
Lots of men in the time period saw women’s suffrage as a positive thing, so I don’t think it would be that inconsistent even if.
Wouldn’t have happened if there weren’t broad support, even if a vocal minority.
