Sorry to necromance this thread but I was wanting to find out more information about Lavrentiy Beria and I want to believe that he’s still a dedicated bolshevik. Its just that there are things said about him like starting a coup in Soviet Georgia or had supporters that were arrested for corruption but this might be unrelated or further slander to Beria and I have read Khrushchev Lied a bit but I should read more.
