A 13 years old should at least have a functional brain.

Here is a better choices:
That’s the better choice.

There’s also no way to guarantee that an AI car’s sensors are working and not returning a ‘there is currently no pedestrian on the crossing ahead and the speed limit here is 500kph, full speed ahead!’

I guess we fundamentally disagree on the effectiveness of DEI policies at the workplace.

I will admit I was mistaken, I forgot the quarterly company wide corporate email asking employees to not be openly racist at work.
Truly solving inequalities, one middle manager asking you to sign that you’ve read the email at a time.
The problem isn’t that there isn’t smart women and minorities, they exist. They’re just crushed by the system. DEI won’t solve that. DEI won’t women and minorities the resources to achieve their dreams, DEI won’t give handicapped people access to a better life.
DEI is a bandaid on a festering, maggot filled wound. People slap it on and are like “wow, what a good job”, and it drives me crazy.

Social studies are about worth as much as the paper they’re written on. 60 years ago studies said black people were inferior. In 60 years it’ll be something else. They always match the era they were made in.
The only true solution to inequality is actual action against the cause of inequality, not some feelgood quarterly corporate email asking employees to not be openly racist at work.

DEI is nothing more than an acceptable form of racism.
Hiring people to meet quotas does not make a society better and does nothing to fix the root cause of inequalities.
Free access to quality education, healthcare and funding higher education for the people who can’t afford it is how you fix things for the better. This is the future and good.
DEI is the equivalent of a small band aid over a putrid, gaping wound.
I’d rather find toilets but when cities decide to remove them, all that’s left is walls.
Cities: “ugh, toilets are so expensive to maintain. Remove them.”
Cities: “everything smells like piss now :(”
If there is no toilets available, a wall or a bush does the trick just fine. I ain’t going to rupture my fucking bladder because some bean counter decided to count beans.

I mean… I’d take that offer for sure.

Everything that’s freely accessible on the internet has been scraped 400 times over.
Because fuck you.

If your area can only survive due to cancerous tourism, then it’s time to move. Tourism not only makes life shit for the residents because of tourists, it also increases living costs for the people. Any income you get from it is immediately lost on everything else.

Tourist hotspots have suffered from this since forever.
Tourism is a cancer and generates nothing but misery for the people living in beautiful places. Oh and I guess it increases tax money for the government officials to live their pockets with.
Get the fuck out.
My usual walk takes me through a portion of a popular hiking trail that crosses the entire country.
That short time I am on the trail before dipping down to my usual small path is nothing but poop bags tied to branches.

NGL if you have the money, a Watercooled bed is amazing.
Getting one that doesn’t work through the internet though, good luck.

The machine I have to use at work was updated to windows 10 two months ago. One of the software we use for our job is hosted on a VM running Windows 98.
The wilderness was millenias ago. I don’t buy it.
We have perfectly evolved the ability to use technology. We evolved past the hunter gatherer lifestyle.
Nobody walks past a berry bush and is like oh wow I need to harvest all of that in case I can’t find any food tomorrow.
I mean, I do, because I love berries, but I don’t carry a basket around just in case. I explicitly head out to collect the berries and people look at me like I’m a crazy mfer. There’s this massive blackberry bush right outside work. When they get ripe you can easily harvest a whole bucket of them every 3 or so days. Then there’s the strawberry patch next to the dirt road that lead in the forest. Etc.
America is such a funny place. From the outside it looks amazing and advanced and all techy and freedom and stuff but every time you learn something about it you realize it’s really a lipstick covered dead rotten pig.
