I played this for a few hours on a laptop a decent number of years ago. Such a weird game. I had no idea what was going on in the story despite all the exposition. I’m pretty sure you are in a cult but could be totally wrong. There were a load of options for gear and upgrades. It was definitely interesting and had potential. I think I stopped playing and didn’t finish it because I didn’t really understand why I was doing anything and I think I struggled to recognise any of the characters between scenes, if there were any persistent characters.

I always enjoy a monkey’s paw type deal. I hope your players enjoy discovering how it all goes wrong.

I work in healthcare and it’s an append-i-cectomy not an appen-dectomy. It should have the i pronounced. The Americanised version is just lazy.

Yeah it’s animal abuse. In the wild the snake hunts and the prey has a chance to escape. The prey animal has 0 (or very close to 0) chance of escape in a tank with a reptile. It’s just cruel and unnecessary.

I’d draw the line for anything not an insect personally. Insects I’m pretty sure don’t have enough brain to be terrorised.

So you got to go on a short cruise where they returned you unharmed to your original destination.

That’s definitely not human trafficking but the situation you put yourself in could have very very easily gone that way if the people on the boat wanted it to and you were lucky you came out of it unharmed and free.

Taking your idea a bit further you could Schrödingers cat yourself, buy a bunch of lottery tickets and set up a radioisotope decay triggered death machine with the escape being you select a winning lottery ticket. In theory this means you’re getting out of the box with a winning ticket.

You could also do the same with basically anything you want to happen, go into the box with the escape condition of “the world becomes a better place” probably need some more defined variables but maybe not.

I work in healthcare in the UK. I don’t even drink on week nights let alone over lunch. I agree over here drinking at lunch would probably be seen as a problem.

I think a big part of that is the UK binge drink culture. Most people over here drink a lot in one go to get drunk as the goal.
