I can’t believe I’m even surprised, really, but how can these idiots be focused on this rather then literally any of the actual issues that people are facing right now?
That’s a rhetorical question, I already known the answer is they want to handwave away real issues and only focus on the theater issues they themselves create to generate outrage.
But I mean, they want to outlaw the imaginary chemtrails? Didn’t have that on my apocalyptic bingo card.
Sigilos@ttrpg.networkto Gaming@beehaw.org•I have about 55 hours of flights coming up. I’m thinking about the deus ex collection. Any thoughts?7·1 month agoI loved Deus Ex Human Revolution, it was my intro to the series and still one of my favs. I woild also recommend something a little more sandbox, like Minecraft or Lightyear Frontier, just for the sheer time sink these games can be. Farming and building can make you lose track of hours at a time, great for travel.
I could also recommend something like Be my Hoard. Trying to get over an hour on a run is a fun way to burn an hour, if you like rouge-lite styles.
If you like driving, something like American Truck Simulator or Euro Truck Simulator is another great time sink.

In fact, more and more evidence is being found that shows the entire thing was rigged, and the true majority decision was not acknowledged by the folks who had mostly been behind the scenes before.

Sigilos@ttrpg.networkto politics @lemmy.world•Trump now says farmers may continue employing migrants under a system where they assume ‘responsibility’ for them831·2 months agoYeah, not surprised at the Orange Blunder finding a way to bring back slavery. Oh his cronies will think up a different name for it, but soon these poor people will be segregated and counted as ⅗ of a person for purposes of population counting when drawing up political districts.
At this rate we are going to end up with Civil War 2 Electric Boogaloo before Christmas…
Edit: Correction of fractions, the historical amount was ⅗, not ⅕.

Sigilos@ttrpg.networkto /r/50501 Mirror@50501.chat•CBP and ICE Claiming They Don't Need Warrants to Enter Private HomesEnglish43·2 months agoI mean, no need for a warrant means no need for a warning.
Will that have consequences? Absolutely, possibly deadly ones. But if they want to pull people out of homes and put them into concentration camps, that’s a reason to use the 2nd amendment.
Edit: Corrected 2nd Amendment, was 4th Amendment, because I have issues remembering numbers sometimes.
Isn’t that just a solar panel with extra steps?
Solving percents. I use this to predict gross and net of my paychecks when I do my budget.
Net X ------ = ------ Gross 100 (GrossX) = (Net × 100) GrossX ÷ (Net × 100) = X Example; 200 X ------ = ------- 250 100 Step A 200 × 100 = 20000 Now 250X = 20000 Step B 20000÷250=80 Therefore X=80 Also expressed as 80% of 250 = 200.
It’s also kinda handy when figuring out sales and stuff at the store, sometimes.
