You could use it as the logic board for a micro drone, something the size of a dime perhaps. Or other applications where weight or space are extremely limited. Another example might be a medical implant of some sort, this is small enough that it could be a part of a device that is meant to be placed inside an artery, or an eyeball, or an ear canal.
To be fair, it is really hot…
Thanks, heh, I just came back to look at what I’d written again, as it was 6am when I posted that, and sometimes I say some stupid shit when I’m still sleepy. Nice to know that I wasn’t spouting nonsense.
That sounds like a you problem.
“Our business is so bad and barely viable that it can only survive if you allow us to be overtly unethical”, great pitch guys.
I mean that’s like arguing “our economy is based on slave plantations! If you abolish the practice, you’ll destroy our nation!”
Probably throw planes at you.
Oh, I like that one! Direct and to the point.
Hey, since when is it bad to want to kill Nazis? Last I heard that was generally encouraged. It’s the whole moral foundation that the first person shooter genre was based on.
It’s the pivotal moment in War of the Worlds, for instance, and I can’t see any way to avoid it.
I can think of a way to avoid it. And it’s obviously a better first contact scenario when you think about it. It’s simple, when you arrive at a planet for first contact, don’t make it on the planet, make it at the largest space station found in orbit.
You can literally make contact in space suits, in space. If initial contact goes well and their required atmospheres (and necessary atmospheric pressure) are compatible, you can make further contact in the station, limiting the spread of any possible contamination.
Additional benefit: first contact will be made with scientists and engineers, not with politicians or nut jobs.
It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out what this actually is.
I followed your link, and read the “how it works” page and only then realized that this is for “scheduling” in a programmatic sense, not scheduling in a calendar events and appointments sense.
But is this understanding correct? That this is a tool designed to aid for example, a social media coordinator for an organization, or a brand manager? Something to help send out updates or messages at pre planned times? Or perhaps to allow you to create one statement and post that to several different platforms?
Does anyone know what other nations fall into this “sensitive” classification?
Edit: I did some googling myself and here’s the list below. (The short version is: Russia and their allies, China and their allies, and broadly the middle east. Weirdly, also Taiwan)
I realize that’s a long list, I don’t know, should I put that in a or code block or spoiler tag?
