less or bat, but I usually use by paging up and down so it’s not that different from more… My terminal emulator only pages up and down, I like it that way.
Cuteness enjoyer.

Nice to hear that you already have Hidamari Sketch on your list, it’s underrated in my opinion. The animation style is also really unique.
柊 つかさ@lemmy.worldto Anime@ani.social•Slice of life, wistful melancholy, and K-On making me cry a bunchEnglish8·18 days agoFor me there really isn’t anything better in anime then moments like the one you describe in K-ON! I have that same picture up as the banner on !kon@lemmy.world. I think older anime do these tender moments better than the newer ones. For example Bocchi the Rock is quite forgettable to me, especially compared to K-ON! (I watched them back to back).
If you are interested in this type of stuff, you might want to check out the genre “iyashikei” (free translation: “healing genre”). The border with iyashikei, slice of life and cgdct is often blurred, I argue that K-ON! is indeed at least partially an iyashikei anime. It’s a bit of spectrum, most SOL will include some iyashikei but some have a much stronger emphasis on it. Other titles that may be of interest are Non Non Biyori, Hidamari Sketch and ARIA.

It Doesn’t Love Me Back: Post 1 – Built for Control, But Not for People — fireborn7·27 days agoI understand the problem of “code it yourself”. But if they won’t code it themselves, and it ought to exist, who has to? Everything that is provided is provided for free and with love and passion. If something is lacking in that there are only a few options. Including code it yourself or pay someone to code it for you. The only reason you get anything at all is because of the “code it yourself” attitude of the people who developed the software in the first place, as well as their willingness to share it.
Yes, indeed. Even agreed! Joking i was, poking some fun. All in jest, even the emoji couldn’t put the overly serious answers to rest!
Debian users analyzing graphs in order to estimate when they can upgrade from really old software to slightly less old software 🤣
I started out on Void, then to Arch and finally to Artix. The Artix experience really feels like a mix of Arch and Void to me. As for gaming, I’m really not a big gamer at all, not having played for years. I do remember playing Minecraft without issues as well as a few Steam games such as CSGO. So it’s fine as far as I can tell.
I’m on Artix and I have removed sudo after installing doas. I do have a symlink
sudo -> /usr/bin/doas
in/usr/bin
. Have had this configuration for about a year, nothing broke.

(don’t take that too seriously please)
Artix because it is more Arch then Arch according to Arch’s own goals: “focuses on simplicity, minimalism, and code elegance”. There is no way systemd is more simple, minimal and elegant than its alternatives. I don’t think systemd is bad, but I do think it is a bad fit and Artix is what Arch should have been.
Unless you have a particular reason for sticking to POSIX, who cares? I’ll take the user experience improvement without worry.
I like fish abbreviations. They are like aliases but expand when you press space or enter. That way you can edit it, and also still see the full command so you are less likely to forget it when you don’t have your aliases. Of course I have some scripts as well.
I finished ARIA the natural. It’s very good again. Especially the OST and Athena’s songs. I don’t think I’ve seen so many golden hour shots in an anime ever. I’m a great enjoyer of golden hour, tender music and a some sappy lines.
