Story time: The first time I heard this song was getting out of US Navy boot camp. I walked into my barracks room, and my bunkmate was drunk and knew I was fresh out of boot camp and the same age as him (older compared to who you would think would join the military). The first sound I heard was this song when I walked in. He is deadpan and blanked-face when he casually turns to look at me and asks while pointing at the screen, “You know anything about this song?” I responded with “No, but I’m always happy to learn new things.” Guy was my drinking buddy for over 2 years.
I feel ya. I always thought that there’s bands that are always better in studio than concert. And bands better in concert than studio. For example, GWAR is amazing in concert, but I can’t stand most of their songs on album. But on the opposite side, As I Lay Dying needed to be on album to be good.
That is also not an opinion on Tim. My opinion is I will no longer listen to AILD music
You have it backwards. Greed is the root of our capitalism epidemic. And you think communist leaders are immune to greed? Just look at NK. The people share what little scraps there are while government officials live very easy lives

Have you considered remotely?
“Federated services, otherwise known as ‘the fediverse,’ have been hailed as a network for public communication, dialogue and debate, where ordinary people, not corporations, shape their social spaces, and where advertisers, hate speech and intrusive algorithms are much easier to avoid.”
Haha. Bullshit

I’d recommend learning all definitions of a word before you assume what people are saying

Nice try, but I don’t believe any person that speaks what I would consider a “sub-language” any lesser or pronouncedly different beyond region adaptations from around the world.
You can continue to make me look racist, but my first statement had nothing to do with race, culture, or religion. So trying to create a narrative to portray me that way is redundant and asinine

EABOD25@lemm.eeOPto News@lemmy.world•Canada's former leader Chrétien has blunt advice for Trump: 'Give your head a shake!'English01·3 months agoI’d prefer to refer to it as sub-english because it’s English… but it makes more sense to Canadians (of a certain regions) than the rest of the world until the rest of the world hears it and then it makes perfect sense. It’s not a new language. It’s just using an old language in a new way. If it was a dialect it would be like everything described by Jeff Foxworthy with his “you might be a redneck” jokes
Sorry
