For a while I was holding on to sanity thinking “he’s an idiot and he’s just drawing attention to himself.” But now, to anyone that was still thinking “maybe he really is that clumsy, maybe he didn’t really mean it”, this is it. If you’re not getting it now you never will. He’s literally, in the literal sense of literally, a Nazi.

I do wonder if it will have much uptake here. Dutch tend to be quite self centered in these things and have a hard time breaking habits. We don’t really have this sense of national or European pride except in certain small groups. But hey every bit helps. I always hope the younger generation feels more of a sense of European identity.
