I’m unsure which view OP holds. To be honest I’m unsure myself.

That is simply not true. It undersells by a wide margin how much very real danger we are in even if every were to go PERFECTLY from here on out. If capitalism collapsed completely tomorrow and we all were suddenly gay space communists, we would still be in the fight of our (humanity’s) lives. A mass extinction has already begun and to stop it requires an insane amount of either energy and unproven tech or massive upscaling of natural regeneration.

I think you misunderstand. I don’t want violent PROTESTS. I want people to get these ghouls in their homes, as should anyone who truly values morality and not just pays lip service to it. But yes we all must choose our own moments of actions.

These people are doing real damage to real peoples lives. Destroying them and preventing that damage is an obvious good. These people will not be reformed. They will not be swayed by moral arguments and logic. They want you to suffer and they want to be the one to cause it.

So you’re saying we only need to wait one year until the midterms and if that doesn’t work, then all gloves off? Or are you going to tell us to wait then too?

The question is, is the American public in the right mood to flip over to fascism when scared by the riechstag fire or flip against it?

How many passwords, accounts, bills, charges, emails, letters, apps did they receive or use every day? How many minutes of their day were hijacked by advertisements expressly designed to make you feel strong emotions?

Every single person is so intensely overstimulated compared to our ancestors. Even on our days off, we rarely spend time just sitting and relaxing because our capitalistic world demands our labor. When we do relax, usually we are overstimulating with media.

I advocate for violence all the time. That’s because I hate them.

I think it’s silly to prolong this. They are doing damage by the day.

It’s not the parents failing to teach their children. It’s that this society is SO VASTLY DIFFERENT from what you grew up with or what your parents did and certainly so far removed from what we have experienced for 100,000 years, that our brains are melting trying to make sense of it.

In the USA, it’s pretty standard police training, apparently.

We as a society have failed to implement those consequences. When the government refused, we should have taken up the mantle ourselves. It should be a mark of great virtue to have the head of a CEO mounted over your fireplace.
