For example, to search google, you would put !g or !google at the start of your search.

For me, its only finding stuff thats really hard to google, like concepts or meme templates.

On ddg? Only one or two, which I can filter out.

Google always will return a content farm though.

Like, crypto in general sucks, but digital anonymous money transfer is almost impossible without it.

I think crypto is good for transactions, not storing money.

When you follow a remote community, it doesn’t send all of that servers posts. Only posts from that comm. That way, if I’m hosting a small server and subscribe to !guineapigs@lemmy.world, for example, it won’t drown my server with the rest of lemmy.worlds posts.
