There really isn’t a “scientific consensus” about either of these conditions, there’s no conclusion on what causes either of them, except that both are heritable and there’s a genetic component. I’ve discussed this with a professor of forensic psychiatry who works in a psychiatric prison, surely you could make a TL:DR summary of your stance, if you claim to have the expertise.
