I’m easily speculating that The Turnip’s govt is threatening these companies to stop producing in canada. He threatened Ivy League schools and law firms, so this isnt a stretch
Proudly born in Canada, w/ European cultural heritage.

Or the Trump stickers pointing and saying “I did that”
I’ve done this before i boycotted NoFrills. I’d remove the maple leaf (typically from a store brand product CLEARLY shipped in from the US) and put it next to the price tag for a Canadian product, then flipped the American products upside down.
Yes to sales on US products bc of low sales.
I recently made a purchase online with a local farmers market. Bought a couple discount bags. They are meant to have items close to expiration, but both had one product of USA with an exp date decently far ahead. They’re unwanted products so they’re practically giving them away to clear stock.
Might be worth complaining to store management or above their head.
Often when i find stuff on shelves with inaccurate marketing, I flip over the products to signal “this is from the US”
-More cargo opportunities
Would this mean businesses selling to these countries?
Someone tell him to stop swimming in the water when Redtide is happening
Reading a lot of positives here
Interesting how the turnip says canada and the US are still friends, but they behave like this at the same time. Talk about gaslighting abusive behaviour.
Personally, as someone in Ontario, I want to see more products in my grocery store and Shoppers from YT, NT, NU, QC, NL, PE, NS, and NB.
I was tickled pink seeing a specific QC brand of sunscreen at Shoppers today, and at competitive pricing to ON made, and especially to the US brands.
I believe giving our smaller provinces more access to competitive selling in provinces with larger population will help our smaller provinces’ economy survive and hopefully flourish while The Turnip attacks our economy.
I’ve also been thinking Canadian companies, big and small, will look at selling outside of North America, too, if they arent already. A friend in NZ sent me a photo of 100% Canadian maple syrup being sold at her grocery store. She was so excited to see it!
Cool, care to share what would do it?
Im legit concerned that anything the fed govt gets established… the next time we have a conservative govt, they’ll either sell it or dismantle it if they can’t sell it.
Maybe companies like TerraNova Steel will shoot forward!!
I hope the right ppl meet her
Your brain cells, not mine
This^^
This is a very fair question. The Cons screw Canada over quite regularly. Is there a way we can safe guard anything put into place.
Pp really did this to himself by trying to ride on the turnips blue tailcoat, THEN took way to long to realize a”this isn’t working, maybe I should pivot”
