It’s not impossible to sideload on an iPhone. More steps, sure, but not impossible.

I ended up with an iPhone due to their music making ecosystem being quite robust with several third party plugins available and an audio engine that Android is still dreaming of and have not missed anything from Android. Now there really doesn’t seem to be much of a difference other than feeling way more secure on my iPhone. I love that they vet app developers so hard so I don’t end up with some horrid app on my phone

Let your local magats know how you feel for them subjecting us all to this bullshit. Make them feel as uncomfortable as they have made us all feel. Tail them for no reason while driving, be aggressive or outright shun them. Call them hateful names and mirror their behavior back on them. I have noticed that they get especially uncomfortable when you do it for apparently no reason at all. They end up so confused and scared they don’t even know what to do about the situation.

Did they all feel almost lifeless to you? I couldn’t ever get over how lifeless the first two felt and just figured the third would end up being like that too. Just like it was all just visual fodder for me to stare at for a couple hours and the story was so generic that my brain just said “nah fuck that” and rejected it
