it makes little sense to me as well. it seems like every few months or so, random innocent words get added to “no-no” lists.

i try to be polite. once that’s used up I got nothin left but “welp!” speedwalks away.

i care a lot less about social acceptability as I get older. i will be polite once or twice trying to leave a conversation. if I get locked in by the other participant, a firm “oh, excuse me!” then literally just walking away is the last step.

its awesome and i use it every day. it has some flaws though. the main being that it only seems to work for the original screen aspect ratio of the steam deck, which is fantastic in handheld mode. but quite annoying in docked.

but I use nested all the time when I just need to do a quick thing on the desktop. or download a file, etc. faster than swapping allllll the way to actual desktop mode.
