This was my comment. My dad and I felt that same way but my grandmother just couldn’t understand how we could.
If I never needed to eat, that’d be wonderful. No more getting fat ever again and I’d probably be 100 times healthier.

Someone corrected me the other day on here that it’s not all games that are doing that but only some will be a game key and others will be the full game. I’m assuming that all first party titles will be the game key since this is largely about piracy and not allowing people to easily dump the game from the cartridge like people did for the Switch.
Wait so there will be two different types of cartridges? Some that do hold game data and others that don’t and are just the digital key?
I was under the impression this would be all cartridges for the Switch 2.
They made a change that the cartridges no longer hold the game data but will require a download of the game and the cartridge is just a key for the digital game.
That will stop game dumping from the cartridge. But with a jailbroken console, we can still get the game that way.
I’ve been really liking the art style of the Common Side Effects tv show. It’s like anime but very western in feel with just the right amount of CGI, where it’s not too much but used in the right angles.
When I sleep at my mom’s house, there’s a smart lamp my brother put in the spare room that has 1 USB port on it and a wireless charging pad. I opt to use the wireless charging pad at night for my phone and the USB for my watch. Makes it so I can charge two devices simultaneously without having to switch out USBs.
in a car, having wireless charging pad is nice for the convenience of taking it with you and putting it on very quickly and easily, especially if you’re actively driving and just want to do it with the least amount of distractions. Even with USB type C being reversible, you still need to make sure the cable gets in the hole and that’s dangerous to do while driving. But with a wireless pad, you don’t have to look and the magnet helps guide it on correctly for you. You still shouldn’t do this while driving, but out of the two, a vastly safer alternative. Besides that, it’s nicer to be able to just grab your phone and go when leaving the car and also easier when entering. Another addition is that a wireless charging pad takes the place of two accessories and combines them together. So you now have a mount and a charger in one instead of both being separate.
Hygienically speaking, it’s cleaner in that you don’t have to touch the charger. Best for public use like a coffee cafe. People are gross and I try my hardest not to have touch contact with stuff if I can help it. So to be able to drop my phone down without touching a cable a million other people have been touching helps with that too.
Even though I like it…I still want a port. A lot of cases don’t allow you to make direct contact to have wireless charging, so it’s not always an option. Also don’t always want to have my phone laying down, sometimes I want to use it while it’s charging, especially when typing, and that’s near impossible with 90% of charging pads unless it’s a special type of MagSafe for iPhones. Then there’s also the fact that I like it as an option in case something breaks. If the port is dirty or damaged, I still have the wireless charging option. Same in reverse if the wireless function ceases to work for some reason.
Rick and Morty. I enjoyed the first 3/4 seasons and then in season 4, it just stopped being what it was for me. I can’t really describe why but I lost interest and haven’t gotten back. Losing Justin Roiland cemented that too. Not saying he should’ve stayed, just not having him on anymore made me further lose interest even if he wasn’t providing much to the content of the stories. I know that I would be constantly focused on how that’s not him anymore behind the voices and it would be distracting for me.
I really liked the show and enjoyed the humor. Being a fan of sci-fi, adult cartoons, and comedy all coming together like that was something I appreciated like Futurama or Venture Bros. I did cringe at a lot of the fan base, but I liked the show for what it was.
I always thought the abomination that is SaaS came from Adobe
This is one of many problems with “ACAB” because not every cop is one way or the other.
Reality is that a functioning society needs police officers. It sounds like you hit it off with this person and they have some good qualities that you like.
How do you expect the police to change if we don’t get involved? Getting rid of the police entirely is not a solution. But getting in and making changes from the inside is a valid way to make things better.
Why are you wanting to create an echo chamber for yourself? Why don’t you expose yourself to others and other ideas that are different than yours? What’s the harm there? Are you scared you won’t be able to change his mind or that his ideas might make some sense to you?
It’s ironic considering their early days in gaming. They were targeted by Universal over a BS lawsuit for using “Kong” in Donkey Kong and him being a gorilla like King Kong.
Now they’re pulling the same crap on smaller people/businesses and also working with the very company who did the lawsuit to bring their games to the movies.
