Yeah, i find it’s a lot quicker to fix AI script than write one from scratch. AI logic isn’t the worst, execution where it can REALLY trip up if you give it wrong prompt.

Hell, i had used straight up AI scripts in prod because it’s just 100 lines of code and I would’ve written it the same way. Our ERP instance has roughly 300 scripts, most written by me. I know how to code but some times? I really can’t be bothered to write something simple as “take these two fields, calculate the difference, do it for all line items and write total into this field”. AI won’t do something as stupid as do it on change, it know something like this is for after submit.

The future is bright and I do think AI will be a net benefit for my role in the long run if this is what it can do now.

Also parsing 10k lines of debug? It’s a champ. I wouldn’t be able to open excel and filter by the script, user and date by the time Ai already has it figured out.

I get skepticism and then there’s the unemployed know it all… it’s a tool, if you can’t use the tool, it doesn’t make the tool bad.

  • Braindead comments here, same as reddit… this is amazingly good, you can get ‘any fullscreen experience’ and set it to playnite or steam. You get all the performance benefits and use your chosen platform.

I’ve been using this for months on my son’s gaming machine and it makes a huge difference in ram heavy titles or titles which needed that little bit more to run.

    But hey, continue to hate.

This is basically steam os performance without limitations of linux. Steam os allegedly still edges ahead but we’re now talking margin of error levels.

  • A livable wage increasing 3x is going to raise eyebrows…

I’m not in US, but 3x people’s salary isn’t something feasible, you don’t just increase the lowest, as they now leaped past everyone else. EVERYONE will need increases.

So now everything goes up in cost, you just killed the export economy and those who are out of a job? Get turbo fucked because benefits lag behind at best of times, but now they got higher prices to deal with with the money they already don’t have.

Oh and people go and buy out the housing market before it rockets to the moon.

This is a lemmy comment, figures are vague by design. It is a centrist (read left if you’re American) safe space, hence I’m here, but we don’t live in lala land…
