I’m sorry, I see this sort of rhetoric a lot and it’s understandable, but it’s also wrong. The U.S. fundamentally protects voter rights because of their constitution (in a similar way that gun ownership is hard to restrict) and this means there’s multiple levels of enforcement. Voter fraud and accusations of such from the both the left and right are fairly baseless and frankly ideological. While it might seem like craziness, saying the current state of affairs is undemocratic at best leads to backslide (like in this Arab country) and at worst tankie-style abolition of all rights.

As much as we can and should critique unethical practices in international business, they made a personal decision vis-a-vis purchasing land for development. I have little trust in the NGO industrial complex to accurately surmise what’s going on. The oversight needs oversight.

Honestly as someone who doesn’t pay much attention to these matters, I just want Trump to stop wasting taxpayer’s money. It’s not helping anyone to say these things, certainly not the downtrodden people in Cuba. I still have hope for better things, but not this administration.

Hopefully they will be able to fight better and stronger
Exactly. These people are not morally sound.
