A human, from a Finland.
What is important to me? Well, generally: doing the right thing. And then everything that follows from this: Sustainable living, including suistainable travel and eating, privacy, opposing fascism, opposing genocides.
And then languages and bicycles are other interesting things. I also am a parent of some further human beings.
I have lived in Finland, Germany, Ukraine, Spain and the Russia. And hitchhiked from Finland over China to India.

I can’t understand why people keep insisting on invading all of the Russia, century after century.
Take St. Petersburg, get close to Moscow and call it a day. In present day, also disconnecting Belarus from the Russia would be good, as the country’s alignment would likely change.
Then agree that the Russia will get SPb back in exchange for leaving all of Ukraine, returning the children and letting Ukraine retain its corridor to Latvia as a form of reparations.

2 years of repairs if they can find the money for that.

If Bandera was as nazi as you say, why on Earth did German Nazis imprison him and why did the atrocities by OUN take place precisely during the time he was in prison? To me that looks like Bandera was leading am organization with a lot of nazis and did his best to keep the nazi assholes there at bay.
All in all, he seems like a figure similar to Finland’s C.G.E. Mannerheim.

Heroiam slava!

A tiny refinery might have less resources for fixing the damage?

You’re completely skipping Ukraine’s military strategy here:
It has been since 2023 to destroy the Russia’s economy. Once that’s dealt with, the rest will follow.
Also, look at the huge AD losses the Russia has suffered especially in Crimea! Attriting the Russian air defence in order to get to the refineries has been a part of Ukraine’s core strategy.
Ukraine’s current war goal is not to regain territory. It is to lay the groundwork for doing that in the future.

It’s the second time this has happened. The previous one was roughly a year ago.
Regarding Switchblades… It was also very important that within days of ZSU beginning their news, we read articles on how inefficient they actually are. That a 80 % cheaper drone does a _better_ job! They turned out to be unreliable, inaccurate and extremely expensive.
That told a lot of western military industry in general!
I cannot understand why nothing is done about this. The problem is, when they say at the Finnish border “this product is going to Kyrgyzstan”, but it actually stays in the Russia, it has earlier not been Finland’s problem but one of the Russia – it means that the customs fees for the Russia have not been paid and the product lands there anyway.
Now it’s different but we still behave like we did in 1996 and 2003 and 2021.
Why?

Russian artillery is magnificently imprecise. In order to hit a specific target using Soviet-style artillery, you need about 10 times as many rounds as with western artillery.
When the goal is to obliterate a town, that doesn’t matter. But when you’re trying to hit a single tank, it does.
