This is a revolution at it’s infancy. The war for Chicano self-determination and socialism has only just begun.

I’ve seen the opposite with Chinese consumer goods. The FiiO’s M21 they recently slashed the price by $150 on Amazon.
Seeing more people online openly disregard American propaganda on Xinjiang is very interesting to see in real-time.
This must have been how people felt like when the Tet Offensive destroyed the government narrative surrounding the Vietnam War, the narrative that the Vietnamese were eminently about to capitulate.
I can’t help but draw comparisons between the Tet Offensive and the Palestinian genocide. Both had the same effect of smashing American propaganda.
Under capitalism, perfectly good food is left to rot while millions of Americans starve.
The market is already a bit jumpy from the UNH wipeout. The crash may be closer than we think.
This is absolutely unbelievable. My neighbors took down their Trump flag a month ago.
Given how it seems like another Indian-Pakistan war may be just over the horizon, the security forces of the Indian state will soon be stretched thin.
I wonder what the Naxalites are thinking right now? A Communist-Muslim alliance against the fascist Hindutva would mean the state security apparatus would have to deal with…
Combine this with the social unrest kicked off by this upcoming economic crisis, and I think you can have a winning coalition to win a revolution. Islamophobia is a serious issue though.
Note: The Muslims of India would be very interested in active resistance because they’re currently being subjected by pogroms facilitated by Hindutva paramilitary groups. Resistance in this case can be considered self-defense and offers a modicum of security during these scary times.
Note1: You can probably also include the Christians of India into this broad alliance against Hindutva fascism. I know you have many St. Thomas Christians who have had to flee India because of repression.
The point of the ICE demonstrations are two fold.
In LA, many of the organizations organizing these demonstrations also do ICE patrols in their communities, and these patrols have been effective at actually preventing deportations.
The other benefit is like what you said, it’s to show people that they’re not alone in this struggle, to build community. Community is necessary in order to win a prolonged struggle.
These demonstrations both fulfill a need (not getting deported) and it also raises morale. Without fulfilling some sort of need, demonstrations can very quickly be viewed as “useless” which will lead to the very people we’re trying to save to lose faith and be politically deactivated.
We need these people to stay politically activated and in the struggle because their active material interest (not being deported) grants them the potential to be active and high quality organizers… a vanguard in formation.
