Pathfinder WOTR
Lots of different builds for different degrees of minions.
Lich mythic path has raising a tonne of undead built in, but classes like druids are also borderline RTS gameplay with the hordes you can pop out with spontaneous summons.

Anyone else remember the short-lived Matt Hancock app? What is it with Tories and shitty vanity projects?
If you’re deadset on picking dragonborn, bear in mind that red dragonborns get bonus relationship points with Laezel.
My favourite race picks are githyanki and lolthsworn drow though:
Lolthsworn drow get a bunch of unique dialogue options early on that can allow you to skip some combat encounters (although there are also a coupla situations where it’s flipped and you’ve gotta talk normally peaceful NPCs down from fights).
Githyanki starting proficiencies give you a bunch more defensive options for non-martial classes. They also have a lot of unique dialogues.
I enjoyed it, it’s not exactly a light read considering the subject but it’s well paced and tightly written. Its depiction of war and trauma may be triggering for some people.
Your experience may vary depending on the translation. Most English translations are based on the 1929 translation that made the odd choice of switching German slang and cultural references with rough English equivalents as well as trying to tone down some of the darker parts.
I read the 1993 translation which tries to be a bit more accurate to the original book, but does do the thing with swapping the slang around which comes across a bit odd especially earlier on where it’s layed on a bit thick imho.
I’m currently working through my book backlog.
Last book I read was All Quiet on The Western Front, right now I’m partway through House of Leaves.
BG3, checking out the new ranger class. Midway through act 1 and the flurry of swarm damage is really falling off, idk if I did anything wrong.
Edit: just checked the wiki it’s 1d6 damage until level 11 when it becomes 1d8, I just happened to roll well the first coupla times I used it and land 1s every time since.
Not today though, today I touch grass.
