Yeah. I get your point. 😓
But, they’re still going to have more influence from within the party than not. I don’t think it’s that stupid to have crossed. Especially now that they’re a majority.

I’m thinking of switching to Tumbleweed sometime this year.
I’m trying it out in a VM first and I’m seeing it’s still using X11. Is there any plan for them switching to Wayland? Especially with desktop environments moving to only support Wayland.

Get ready to pay the EXACT SAME PRICE within a week or two, while the oil companies pocket the difference.
What a joke.
We should keep the lousy tax (10c on a liter? c’mon.) and instead put a windfall tax on the companies who are going to majorly profit from this war that’s going on.
But, I won’t count on the capitalist in chief to do anything that could potentially hurt business profits and help Canadians.

No. The Liberals have been neo-liberal for quite a long time now. Never really representing the working class.
Right now with their capitalistic leader, they might as well be true blue conservative.

LOL
You wish. (Me too btw)

Why is Pierre Poilievre not the leader of the Liberal party at this point??? Ffs.
Sorry bud, the article is paywalled.

What? Why?

She did so because her constituents asked her so they could have a voice in the leading party. Otherwise they’d be reduced to silence. And that proved to be a good move considering how things turned out.

We’re pretty fucked. Strap in boys and girls, the next few years at going to be tough. And keep an eye out for that fascism. He’s essentially setting up the blocks necessary to support it with his latest bills.

With Carney’s new majority expect this to get worst.

There were still alternatives. You still had choice. There was Ubuntu Gnome, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, etc.
Now no matter which one you pick, you get Snaps shoved down your throat.

Yeah. Going to revisit Endeavour and Cachy along with some others.

I mean, you can say the same about Fedora and RedHat and OpenSUSE and SUSE, no?

Yeah. Either that or OpenSUSE. But I fer OpenSUSE might not have as big a user base as Fedora or as much user documentation.

Thanks, but Bazzite doesn’t really appeal to me. Fedora does have an official KDE Plasma desktop distro now though.

Ubuntu won’t be fine on their next LTS release. Snap is becoming even more mandatory. I don’t have anything against Snap per se, but the way they’re forcing it and tricking users when using apt is not right.
Then the Liberal party needs to be broken up into the progressive conservatives and true liberal.
