Moving on from streaming services was one of the better choices I’ve made and I’m happy I did it before all of this AI nonsense.

I browse for music on RateYourMusic. I give the music a listen using Soulseek. I buy the music through Bandcamp. I see the artist when they come to my town. Recently completed the pipeline for Osees and have Chat Pile and Los Thuthanaka coming up soon.

It’s a peaceful life.

I’ve been playing Dredge and Night in the Woods this week for some nice autumnal vibes. I also played Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping, and while it’s not quite as good as The Secret Salami, I still enjoyed my time with it and I hope there are more games in the series to come.

Also, I plan to be impatient this week and get the new Control game. I know, blasphemy, but the heart uh wants what it wants.

I figured it was time to check out some of the more hyped-up games out there, so I’ve been playing Hades, Hollow Knight, and a bit of Slay the Spire. I’m not sure if I’m at the point where I’m ready to no-life any of them, but for the most part, they all live up to their hype. And the nice part is that they all have sequels available, so if I stick with them and finish/get my fill of them, there is more to come.

I also played Duck Detective: The Secret Salami and it was a really nice short, relatively easy detective game that I recommend if you want a little break from whatever you’re currently playing.
