Actually, there is a company that makes resin printed children’s glasses for about €200 a pop. My son tried them at the opticians and I was impressed by the finish and flexibility. Just to say that 3d printed glasses are really commercially viable.

I might be a grumpy old keyboard enthusiast, but I am amazed by how keyboards just keep getting smaller and smaller.

Just out of interest, what is the benefit of having exactly as many keys as the alphabet?

EDIT: just looked at the keymaps and now I understand that you use key chords to replicate the missing keys. But I still don’t get the benefit of using chording instead of a clearly marked key, for example for /.

Wenn es was gäbe, mit dem ich so 130kmh fahren könnte, sagen wir mal 250-300km mit Beifahrer oder Gepäck, und das auch noch in Bezahlbar, dann bin ich sofort dabei. Gibts aber leider noch nicht.

Ich fahre sehr gerne mit dem Motorrad, ob durch die Ardennen oder nur zur Arbeit. Jedes mal erinnert es mich an meine Kindheit, einfach auf dem Rad und ab in die weite Welt. Es ist einfach geil, die eigentliche Fortbewegung so direkt zu erfahren: die Gerüche, der Wind, die Vibrationen und Beschleunigungen, die Temperaturwechsel. Aber den Sound, damit kann ich mich echt nicht anfreunden.

Für den Stadtbereich gibt es schon einige interessante E-Motorräder. Aber wenn es schneller werden sollte, oder mit einer Reichweite von mehr als 100k, muss man unverschämte Liebhaberpreise zahlen.
