One of my favorite Halloween costumes is still a college acquaintance who came to the party as a banana slug. It was so sincere and heartwarming!

The first half hour or so has a lot of party and club scenes and after a bit it feels like a tiktok feed. When it really dives into the story it gets good, with a lot of conflicting interests and very good performances. Overall my wife and I enjoyed it, and being rarely able to sit and watch a movie together lately that’s worth a lot.

I have less experience with the curcuma but I’ve seen it added to smoothies. I think it can flavor some toasted nuts for a salad topping, or it can be made into a paste like you’ve done for a curry.

One point for everything that you have NEVER DONE4·1 month agoIf you just got a point for never having written a postcard, go write a postcard! And mail it to someone that you appreciate in your life. It doesn’t need to be from anywhere exotic or say anything profound, it just takes a few sentences. If you really want to get fancy about it, a lot of little art galleries sell postcard sized prints and you can give someone a tiny little piece of art that speaks to you. Or go to a museum and buy like 10 at the gift shop and keep a stockpile to send when you want to reach out. People love it, and you probably will too.
My wife and I were having fun doing co-op on the Trine games. Coordinating your character switches to cross obstacles can be pretty fun. The Lego Star Wars games were also fun for us both to just mess around and cause chaos.
