question from a guy who knows almost nothing about computers:
why is it so freaking hard to download a few square miles of open street map to my laptop
ie, draw a box on the screen, hit download, and [ some magic ] OSM downloads the necessary software and downloads the data in the right format and uses mirrors transparently
I tried and got totally bogged down in GIS software that totally didn’t work
wtf ???
