When I finish a task, I realize I didn’t clearly hear or understand anything from the video! 😅
I don’t believe NewPipe is completely algorithm-free; it still operates based on algorithms, but you get different content if you’re using a VPN, as it changes your location. However, most of the time, I receive a ‘content unavailable’ message when using a VPN.
It’s great that you’ve decided to publish videos on PeerTube! But it would be nice if you could make a switch by posting videos on both platforms for a while, and slowly stop posting contents on YouTube.

The issue I have with YouTube is mindlessly spending time on it. The algorithm feeds me too much information, but none of it is useful for me. Also, there’s the fear of missing out (FOMO).
The platform itself is awesome, and the majority of people don’t want or need to quit using it.

It definitely makes it clearer what we’re following and helps us be more intentional about what we watch.

I haven’t used the other platforms mentioned here, so I can’t comment on their effectiveness regarding free speech. For me, the only place where I experience complete free speech is on my own website.
